Currently a sophomore at American University, Vivaan is actively exploring the intersections of politics, governance, and social advocacy. With a global perspective honed by his experiences in Mumbai, India, and Washington D.C., Vivaan has become a passionate voice for Gen Z in political and civic spaces, notably publishing insights on youth engagement in elections.

Vivaan has demonstrated dedication through internships at notable institutions like the Observer Research Foundation and the offices of prominent Indian political leaders, gaining hands-on experience in policy-making and strategic campaign planning. His commitment to social impact extends to grassroots projects, from raising funds for prosthetics and cancer awareness to water conservation initiatives in rural India.

A strong academic and extracurricular foundation, coupled with real-world political engagement, has equipped Vivaan with a unique understanding of both local and global political landscapes. He is committed to fostering an informed and active youth, creating spaces for dialogue and action on issues that shape the future.

Internship with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP):

Vivaan interned with prominent political figures Mr. Sharadchandra Pawar and Mrs. Supriya Sule, gaining firsthand experience in parliamentary processes, political leadership, and campaign strategy. His role involved drafting manifesto elements and conducting legislative research, equipping him with practical governance skills.

Youth Political Awareness Initiatives:

Dedicated to increasing youth engagement in politics, Vivaan established electoral literacy clubs in schools, encouraging young people to actively participate in democratic processes. His initiatives focus on cultivating informed and motivated youth voices in political spaces.

  • Youth Voter Awareness

    Worked with Assembly Member to create awareness amongst the youth for them to participate in the upcoming elections. Set up Electoral literacy clubs in schools.

  • 75 years of India's Independence

    In collaboration with the prestigious Nehru Centre, Mumbai, self-organized a two-day lecture series on 75 years of India's Independence with leading speakers:

  • Gift a Foot Project

    Vivaan spearheaded the "Gift a Foot" initiative, raising funds to provide over 150 prosthetic limbs for those in need. His efforts in this project reflect his commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of underserved individuals.

  • Collaboration with V Care Foundation

  • Quench the Trench Project

    Addressing water scarcity in rural Maharashtra, Vivaan led the "Quench the Trench" project, constructing trenches to aid water conservation. This initiative highlights his focus on sustainable solutions to pressing community issues.
